The Challenge
An emerging eco-friendly toy brand was preparing for launch and needed a complete visual identity built from the ground up — one that could communicate sustainability, playfulness, and trust all at once. The challenge went beyond simply creating a logo. The client required a cohesive packaging system spanning product boxes, cups, and additional packaging formats, each needing to feel unified in purpose while standing out on shelves and in digital contexts. Striking the right balance between a clean, modern aesthetic and the warmth expected from a children's brand is inherently complex — and doing so within an eco-conscious design language added another meaningful layer of constraint. The client also requested multiple design directions for each deliverable, which meant the creative process had to be thorough, explorative, and highly organized.
Our Approach
Helion360 began with a brand discovery phase to understand the company's mission, target audience, and the emotional tone they wanted to convey. From there, the team developed a visual language rooted in natural color palettes, clean typography, and iconography that subtly referenced sustainability without becoming heavy-handed or preachy. Three distinct logo concepts were developed, each exploring a different interpretation of the brand — ranging from minimalist wordmarks to icon-led treatments — giving the client meaningful creative choice rather than a single forced direction. The same multi-concept methodology was applied to the box, cup, and packaging designs, ensuring each format was designed with both print production and environmental material constraints in mind. Design decisions were deliberate: every structural element and graphic choice was vetted against the brand's eco-conscious values, ensuring the finished packaging felt as intentional as the products inside.
The Outcome
The project delivered a fully realized brand identity system including three logo variations, along with three distinct design directions each for the product box, cup, and core packaging formats — totalling a comprehensive set of assets ready for both digital presentation and print production. The client received a cohesive visual ecosystem that authentically communicated their sustainability mission while maintaining the visual appeal necessary to attract modern, conscious consumers. The design system was built to scale, meaning future product lines and packaging formats could be introduced without breaking brand consistency. Helion360 gave this emerging toy brand the visual foundation it needed to enter the market with clarity, confidence, and a story worth telling on every surface.
If you are launching a brand and need packaging design that reflects your values as strongly as your products do, Helion360 can help you build that identity from concept to finished asset.
