The challenge was twofold: produce detailed, specification-grade tech packs that a factory could interpret without ambiguity, while simultaneously developing a cohesive graphic language that would define the brand's visual identity across its apparel line. Our Approach
Helion360 approached this project by treating the technical and creative workstreams as interconnected rather than sequential. The team began with a deep-dive into the brand's positioning, target athlete profile, and performance requirements for each garment category. This informed both the construction logic in the tech packs and the graphic direction, ensuring that every design decision served the product's function as much as its form.
For the tech packs, the team produced comprehensive flat sketches, detailed construction callouts, fabric and trim specifications, measurement charts, and stitching and treatment details for each garment — formatted in a way that factories and pattern makers could act on immediately. Alongside this, the graphic design work involved developing print-ready artwork including repeating patterns, placement graphics, and logo applications, all calibrated for activewear substrates and production processes such as sublimation and screen printing.
Throughout the engagement, the team maintained close alignment with the client's marketing and product stakeholders, iterating quickly on feedback to keep development momentum without sacrificing quality or accuracy.
