The Challenge
A growth-stage tech startup came to us with a clear but demanding brief: design a single logo that could carry the weight of an entire brand across radically different contexts. The company operated across corporate offices, retail shop fronts, and digital platforms simultaneously, meaning the logo needed to function equally well on a website header, a business card, and large-format exterior signage. Beyond versatility, the identity had to communicate innovation and entrepreneurial energy — qualities that are easy to claim but difficult to express through mark and typeface alone. Striking the right balance between modern minimalism and distinctive character, without the result feeling generic or forgettable, made this a genuinely complex visual problem.
Our Approach
Helion360 began with a structured discovery phase, mapping every surface the logo would appear on — from favicon and app icon dimensions through to storefront fascia and recruitment materials. This surface audit directly informed the design constraints: the mark had to retain clarity at very small sizes while holding visual presence at scale. The team explored multiple conceptual directions rooted in the startup's core positioning around technology and growth, testing how each direction performed across both digital mockups and physical environment simulations. Typography was selected for its clean geometry and tech-forward character, and the final color palette was stress-tested for both screen rendering and print reproduction. A set of clear usage rules was documented alongside the deliverables to ensure the identity would remain consistent as the brand scaled.
The Outcome
The final deliverable was a complete, production-ready logo system comprising a primary lockup, horizontal and stacked variants, a standalone icon mark, and a monochrome version — each optimized for a specific application context. The system was handed over with full source files in both vector and raster formats, along with a concise usage guide covering sizing, spacing, and background behavior. The client was able to launch their website, print business cards, and install storefront signage using a single cohesive identity without any adaptation issues. The logo has since appeared across all three of the company's branded environments and has been applied to hiring materials and social media profiles without modification.
Helion360 delivers brand identity work built to travel — from screen to street, from pitch decks to storefronts, without losing coherence or character.
