The Challenge: A Fragmented Visual Identity Undermining Trust
Our client, a growing B2B SaaS platform serving mid-market operations teams, had accumulated a patchwork of design assets over three years of rapid product expansion. Their website sections were built by different contractors at different times, their promotional banners used competing color palettes, and their icon library lacked any consistent stroke weight or metaphor logic. The result was a digital presence that felt unpolished — even unreliable — to prospective enterprise buyers who expected visual credibility from the tools they trusted with critical workflows.
They came to Helion 360 with a clear problem and a tight deadline: a major industry conference was twelve weeks out, and they needed their entire public-facing visual system to feel like it came from a single, confident brand.
Our Approach: System Before Style
We began with a thorough visual audit. Our team catalogued every existing asset — over 200 banner files, 80-plus icon variations, and 14 distinct website section templates — and mapped where inconsistencies lived. Rather than simply refreshing aesthetics, we focused on building a design system with structural integrity that could scale.
Defining the Visual DNA
We established a unified design language anchored by three core decisions: a refined primary palette with a single accent color for interactive elements, a grid-aligned icon style using consistent 2px stroke weights with rounded terminals, and a typographic hierarchy that translated cleanly from large-format banners down to compact UI components. Every subsequent design decision was evaluated against these foundations.
Banner System
We designed a modular banner framework across six standard formats — including leaderboard, half-page, social media, and event signage dimensions. Each template was built with locked structural zones for headline, supporting copy, CTA, and brand mark, ensuring that any team member could produce on-brand promotional assets without a designer present.
Icon Library
We rebuilt the icon library from scratch, delivering 120 production-ready icons organized into six functional categories. Each icon was crafted on a 24x24px grid, exported in SVG and PNG at multiple resolutions, and accompanied by usage guidelines covering sizing minimums, acceptable backgrounds, and prohibited modifications.
Website Sections
We redesigned eleven core website section templates — including hero, feature highlight, social proof, pricing comparison, and CTA sections — using a component-based structure compatible with their existing CMS. Each section was documented with spacing rules, responsive behavior notes, and copy-length constraints to maintain visual rhythm across devices.
The Outcome: One Brand, Every Surface
By the time the conference arrived, the client launched a refreshed website and a full suite of event banners that unmistakably communicated a single, mature brand identity. Internal teams reported dramatically reduced design revision cycles, and the sales team noted that demo conversion rates improved as prospects responded more positively to the brand's elevated professionalism.
