The Challenge
Spiral Vibes was preparing to launch as a new brand with a distinct personality — energetic, creative, and visually adventurous — but lacked a cohesive visual identity to anchor it. The founder needed both a primary logo and a t-shirt design system that could work together across printed merchandise and digital channels. The core tension was a deliberate one: the aesthetic needed to feel retro-inspired without looking dated, and modern without losing its personality. Making that balance work, while also ensuring the logo remained legible and printable across different surfaces and scales, required both conceptual clarity and technical design discipline.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by establishing the creative direction before touching any deliverables. Reference materials submitted by the client revealed a preference for clean layouts, bold typography, and graphic elements that suggest movement and originality. From that foundation, the team explored a visual language rooted in vintage graphic design — think bold silhouettes, layered type treatments, and organic spiral motifs — filtered through a contemporary, high-contrast lens.
The logo was developed with versatility as a non-negotiable constraint. The wordmark featuring "Spiral Vibes" was set in a clean, characterful typeface that reads well at both small digital sizes and large print scales. An icon element — a stylized spiral form that doubles as a mark of creative energy — was designed to function independently of the wordmark for icon-only applications such as app icons, embroidery patches, or merchandise tags.
For the t-shirt design system, the team created multiple layout compositions: a chest-print lockup, a full-back graphic variant, and a sleeve placement option — each adapted to suit different garment styles while maintaining brand consistency. Print-readiness was prioritized throughout, with designs delivered in vector format and accompanied by color separation guidance for screen printing.
The Outcome
The final deliverables included a complete logo suite with primary, secondary, and icon-only variants, alongside three production-ready t-shirt graphic compositions. Every asset was exported in formats suitable for both digital use and professional print production. The brand now has a unified visual foundation it can carry into merchandise launches, social media, and future brand extensions. Spiral Vibes launched with a design system that communicates its identity clearly — bold, creative, and unmistakably its own.
