The Challenge
The client came with a JPG version of their logo — a raster file that looked adequate at small sizes but quickly degraded when scaled for print materials, large-format displays, or professional brand collateral. The immediate need was a clean vector conversion, but the deeper challenge was ensuring the output would actually serve a professional brand across every context: web, print, presentations, and vendor submissions. A careless trace or automated conversion would have produced a technically "vector" file that still looked rough, with inconsistent curves, misaligned anchors, and colors that didn't hold up under scrutiny. The client needed precision, not just a file format swap.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by carefully analysing the original JPG — assessing stroke weights, color values, and any design elements that had been compressed or degraded by rasterisation. Rather than relying on automated vectorisation tools, the team manually rebuilt the logo in Adobe Illustrator, reconstructing each element with clean bezier paths, precise anchor points, and properly defined colour swatches. Every curve was reviewed to ensure it matched the original intent of the design while also meeting the standards expected of a professional brand asset. Once the master vector file was complete, the team exported the logo across all required formats: an editable .ai source file for future design use, a high-resolution transparent PNG for digital and web applications, and a press-ready PDF for print-ready vendor delivery. Colour profiles were confirmed for both RGB and CMYK environments to ensure the logo would render consistently regardless of the medium.
The Outcome
The client received a complete multi-format logo package built around a clean, fully editable Adobe Illustrator source file. The vector rebuild resolved all rasterisation artefacts from the original JPG, producing sharp edges and smooth curves at any scale — from a small business card to a large-format banner. The PNG export retained full transparency, making it immediately usable across presentations, websites, and marketing materials, while the PDF version met professional print specifications. The final deliverables gave the client a brand-ready logo they could confidently hand off to printers, web developers, and marketing teams without any further rework.
Helion360 regularly handles logo vectorisation and brand asset preparation for businesses that need their visual identity to perform across every format and scale.
